Battling on still!

From now on, every time I write a part of the book, I’m going to try and create a blog entry to record the fact, even if it is only a brief entry. At least I can keep a running record of my progress.

Today, I have carried on with the battle scene. It seems to be panning out a bit better than yesterday, when I think I ended up almost suffering brain overload. It was more like a war inside my head, as opposed to one in the novel! This is something which seems to definitely require a bit of concentration and attention to detail. It’s challenging but interesting all the same. The action adds a bit more momentum to the book, so I’m definitely enjoying working on this section!

Tomorrow, more of the same…

About Owen Law

My pen-name is ‘Owen Law’ (real name: Nicholas Davies.) I’m a science fiction writer specialising in dystopian/apocalyptic visions of the future. I’m from Shropshire, England (on the borders with Wales) and I’m in my forties. I have a background in public services and training. I’ve been working on my first novel, Dragon Line, since 2008. I’ve also written several short stories, one of which you can find on this blog (‘Matilda Leviathan‘). I now reside on the border of Shropshire and Wales, and my interests include writing (of course!), current affairs and environmental issues.
