New Feature

I've added a new page tonight – the Last Testament of Patrick Kynaston. This is the first of a series of features involving persons and settings from the book, where you'll get to know both the characters and the backstory a little better. The intention is to include things such as testimonials like this, diary or journal entries, short stories etc to give you – the reader – a little bit more of an insight into the world of Dragon Line.

The Last Testament of Patrick Kynaston sees the main character writing his thoughts down on a scrappy bit of paper, whilst the position he is defending along with his comrades is under siege by the Ironsides. They await the end, the final assault on their fort. Their New Marcher Lord, to whom they owe fealty, refuses to surrender. This is how Patrick feels about the situation……..

Look out for more of these in the near future!

About Owen Law

My pen-name is ‘Owen Law’ (real name: Nicholas Davies.) I’m a science fiction writer specialising in dystopian/apocalyptic visions of the future. I’m from Shropshire, England (on the borders with Wales) and I’m in my forties. I have a background in public services and training. I’ve been working on my first novel, Dragon Line, since 2008. I’ve also written several short stories, one of which you can find on this blog (‘Matilda Leviathan‘). I now reside on the border of Shropshire and Wales, and my interests include writing (of course!), current affairs and environmental issues.
