The future…..

Progress is a little slow with the Prologue at present. I seem to have a lot of other things on, but its all about time management at the end of the day! I'm glad I signed up to Jurgen Wolff's Breakthrough session again. That really helped me with achieving my goal of writing the novel!

Still, it will be done by the end of this week. Next month, it'll be the second draft or review. I hope then not to be too far away in terms of publishing!

Sorry if I'm going over the same ground again, but its worthwhile giving an update and also let you know what I intend to start doing to make this blog a little more interesting. I'm looking to do some video features and I hope to get those up and running eventually. However, starting this week I'll be streaming some audios which I'll be creating. That'll be something a little different, I hope. In particular, I'll aim to talk about some of the main characters and also the locations I visited during the process of writing this book (as well as the ones I knew quite well from having lived in Shropshire most of my life!)

Look out also for that out-take I promised recently! There's some exciting stuff on the way!

Until the next time (when you'll hear me in person!)

PS – by the way, if you are interested in writing yourself, and would love to have guidance from an excellent writing coach, then check out the link to Jurgen's 'Time to Write' blog below. You can find out more about his books and courses there, all of which I heartily recommend! Also, you can get regular updates on writing tips and anecdotes from Jurgen, as well as news of what's going on in the world of writing:

About Owen Law

My pen-name is ‘Owen Law’ (real name: Nicholas Davies.) I’m a science fiction writer specialising in dystopian/apocalyptic visions of the future. I’m from Shropshire, England (on the borders with Wales) and I’m in my forties. I have a background in public services and training. I’ve been working on my first novel, Dragon Line, since 2008. I’ve also written several short stories, one of which you can find on this blog (‘Matilda Leviathan‘). I now reside on the border of Shropshire and Wales, and my interests include writing (of course!), current affairs and environmental issues.
