Location Feature – Rorrington Hillfort (Part 3)

Hot on the heels of the last post is part 3 at Rorrington Hillfort. This time, I'm inside the woodland nearby, where the Rorrington Trail takes you back to the road below Bromlow Callow (I stay on the path itself, by the way. The majority of the woodland is private!)

This is featured because some action during the penultimate scenes of the novel take place here as well. Llew finally confronts his nemesis here, both an external and internal one. The woodland itself is a mainly coniferous with some mixed-broadleaf trees and a bit of undergrowth (I'm sure it may well be even more overgrown in the future scenario!) A great place for launching an attack on a future post-collapse fort maybe?

I'll not say anymore…see you in the next post!
