Owen’s Novel Report – Progress…

I seem to be getting some where with the third draft now, having completed yet another chapter. Hopefully, the novel should be somewhere near ready for publication. Still, from the book I’ve been reading recently about getting published the odds are pretty highly stacked against. So what strategy can I adopt to get this book finally into print?

I’ve been speaking to friend recently who’s a Social Media Manager and he suggested that one of the best ways of promoting your work is to get it onto a Facebook page (I’ve already got one, so guess where this blog post will be featured tonight!) So if you’re reading this and already ‘Like’ my Facebook Page, let your friends know and get them to like it too!

Then there’s the subject matter. Seems like there’s a lot of interest in the whole Peak Oil and Climate Change issue at the moment. So watch this space for some more promotion of these subjects on these pages. If you like what you see, tell your friends and family and get them to visit.

I may put some excerpts here soon too, so if you find my writing interesting and would like to comment, then any feedback would be very well received. Anything that can help convince agents or publishers in the future would be excellent!

Anyway, in the meantime here is an article worth checking out which I tweeted earlier today. Click here to read it.

Until the next post…
