This is a very quick article recommendation, yet still worth a look. Check this post out (the writer is an academic, by the way.) It includes a picture based on a graph that plots oil production on the ‘Y’ axis and the time-frame from the birth of Christ to the year 2500 on the ‘X’ axis. Guess how long oil production is shown for during this time period?

Very sobering!
