‘Climate Tales’ Short Stories – now available on Amazon Kindle

Climate Tales by Owen Law

At last, it’s finally arrived. My little e-book of short stories entitled ‘Climate Tales‘.

Okay, so I know its taken a while for me to get this organised. However, I think it might possibly be worth the wait. The e-book contains three of my original short stories based around the themes of Climate Change and Peak Oil. The first story regular visitors may well recognise is ‘Matilda Leviathan’, a draft of which was previously posted on this blog. Set against the background of resource depletion and regional conflict in the Asian sub-continent, this story is about the apprehension of a notorious terrorist that leads to a nightmare of apocalyptic proportions.

The second is set on a hell-planet where extreme Climate Change has set in – and the discovery of a survivor of a once dominant species.

The third is actually set against the background of ‘Dragon Line’ – I’ll not say any more than that, I’ll let you read it!

The e-book is currently available for 77p (about 99 cents) on Kindle. Click here if you’d like to purchase and download it. (Thank you for support in advance!)

My pen-name is ‘Owen Law’ (real name: Nicholas Davies.) I’m a science fiction writer specialising in dystopian/apocalyptic visions of the future. I’m from Shropshire, England (on the borders with Wales) and I’m in my forties. I have a background in public services and training. I’ve been working on my first novel, Dragon Line, since 2008. I’ve also written several short stories, one of which you can find on this blog (‘Matilda Leviathan‘). I now reside on the border of Shropshire and Wales, and my interests include writing (of course!), current affairs and environmental issues.
