Reblog: Iran says it will launch ‘pre-emptive attack’ on any potential threat to the country

Things are getting a little hotter in the Middle East at the moment. At present, it seems to be something of a ‘phoney war’ taking place between Iran and Israel. I would say that it will only be a matter of time before Israel launches a pre-emptive strike. The Guardian reported recently that the Americans are now resigned to the inevitability of an Israeli air strike. The question is when. Some observers put the window of opportunity as April to June of this year. However, it could be September or October – just to make things awkward for President Obama during election time (they don’t like him much!)
